Ravindra Amunugama

Associate Director- Cell Therapy at Tome Biosciences

Ravindra Amunugama's work experience begins in 2005 as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University. In 2012, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where they worked until 2020. From 2018 to 2020, they also served as a Research Specialist I at Howard Hughes Medical Institute-Harvard Medical School. In 2020, Amunugama joined Vor Biopharma as a Scientist II until 2022. Currently, they are employed at Tome Biosciences, where they started as a Principal Scientist in 2022 and later became an Associate Director.

Ravindra Amunugama pursued their education in the field of science, specifically specializing in biochemistry and molecular biology. Ravindra completed their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colombo between 1999 and 2003. Building upon their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue further education at The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics.
