Ara Vartanian

Ara Vartanian is a seasoned machine learning research scientist with a focus on legal technology, currently serving as a Founding Machine Learning Research Scientist at Tome since April 2022, specializing in the decoding and management of legal contracts. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Software Architect at Click2Mail from 2009 to 2012 and co-founding Postful, Inc., where Ara engineered a pioneering e-mail to ground mail web service and successfully managed the startup from its launch to acquisition within 24 months. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Big Brother Labs from 2004 to 2006. Academic credentials include a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and a BA in Philosophy from Pomona College.
