Jean-Louis Monteiro

Jean-Louis MONTEIRO is a seasoned professional in software engineering and open source contributions, currently serving as an Eclipse Committer and committee member at the Eclipse Foundation since March 2018. With extensive experience as Director of Engineering at Tomitribe since March 2014, key responsibilities include managing a global engineering team, overseeing product design and development, and supporting customers with architectural and security challenges. Jean-Louis MONTEIRO has been a member of The Apache Software Foundation since August 2008, actively contributing as a committer and project management committee member across multiple projects, including Apache TomEE and Apache Geronimo. Additionally, involvement in the Java Community Process from June 2011 to March 2018 included participation in various Java Specification Requests. Previous roles at Worldline by Atos encompassed technical coordination and team leadership in Java EE, along with a history of teaching Java EE at Polytech'Tours.
