Malte Zimmermann began their work experience in 2007 as a Filmeinkauf at United Cinemas International Multiplex GmbH. Malte then worked as a Marketing employee at Senator Film Verleih in 2009. In 2011, they joined Sohomint GmbH // Axel Springer SE, where they held various roles such as Werkstudent Social Media, Account Manager SEO, and eventually became the Head of SEO. In 2015, Malte joined Hubert Burda Media as a Product Manager CRM und Customer Care, overseeing cross-channel communication and leading customer support. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at FREE NOW (formerly mytaxi) as a CRM Manager and later as an International CRM Manager. Currently, starting in 2021, Malte serves as the Senior Customer Engagement Manager at Tomorrow, and as of April 2022, they have taken on the role of Customer Engagement Lead. Overall, Malte Zimmermann has gained extensive experience in customer engagement, CRM management, SEO, and marketing throughout their career.

Malte Zimmermann earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Medienwissenschaft and Politikwissenschaft from Ruhr University Bochum, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Kommunikationswissenschaft and Strategische Kommunikation from the University of Münster, where they attended from 2009 to 2011.
