Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes is currently serving as the Vice President of Communications & Publications at Tompkins Ventures since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers for over a decade, where they held various positions including Manager of Sales and Marketing. With a background in journalism, Michael also served as a Managing Editor at The Times in Gainesville, GA, where they led award-winning newsroom coverage. They have a BA in English with a focus on language, writing, and editing from North Carolina State University.
