Louisa Hoyes has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Louisa started their career in 2014 as an Environmental Intern at the Witham Third District Internal Drainage Board. In 2015, they joined Veolia as a Technical Graduate and later worked as a Communications, Education and Outreach Manager before becoming the Team Lead for Camden Municipal. In 2019, they moved to TOMRA Sorting Recycling and served as a Business Development Engineer until 2022. Louisa then joined TOMRA as a Business Development Manager in the Textiles sector and later assumed the role of Director of Strategic Partnerships in the same field.

Louisa Hoyes completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds from 2011 to 2015. Louisa also pursued a BSc International program in Environmental Science at the City University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2014. Prior to their university education, they attended Guilsborough School from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management in 2017, a National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in 2016, and a Project Fundamentals Qualification from APM in 2016. Louisa also completed a Wilderness First Aid and Leadership course from HIGH PEAK FIRST AID TRAINING LIMITED.
