Andrew Dumond attended the University of Maine at Orono from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Chemical Engineering. In addition to their education, they obtained several certifications. In April 2022, they received the USA Softball Coaching Certification from USA Softball. In March 2023, they obtained the Accredited Interscholastic Coach certification, the National Parent Credential, and the NFHS Coaching Level 1 certification, all from the National Federation of State High School Associations.
