Goetz Weber

Goetz Weber is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial innovation and product management. Currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Innovation at TomTom since September 2023, Goetz engages clients and collaborates with Sales and Product teams to enhance TomTom's offerings. Prior to this role, Goetz spent nearly nine years at HERE Technologies in various positions, including Market Strategy for the Americas and Sr. Director of Solutions Strategy, focusing on developing geospatial software solutions and driving innovation. Previous experience also includes leadership roles at Samsung Electronics, xMobb, and doubleTwist, as well as significant contributions at SAP, where Goetz co-created the xApp concept. Goetz holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Bielefeld University and an MSc in Physics from the University of Cape Town.
