Greg Mahowald

Greg Mahowald is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in machine learning, software development, and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Staff Engineer at TomTom since March 2024, Mahowald previously held roles at Kyte and Amazon, where significant contributions included leading the implementation of machine learning platforms and developing systems for Amazon's Just Walk Out technology. Prior experience at Uber focused on computer vision and robotics, while earlier roles at BrainScope and Northrop Grumman involved executive management and advanced system design in medical devices and EO/IR systems, respectively. Greg Mahowald holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
