Pietro Bonato

Pietro Bonato is a seasoned data science professional, currently serving as Data Science Team Lead for Maps Analytics at TomTom since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Data Scientist at Medallia, where contributions were made to the Decibel Data Science/R&D team for enhancing Digital Experience Analytics. Pietro worked for Windtre as a Data Scientist from July 2018 to November 2021, focusing on churn prevention and cross-selling in B2C markets while coordinating a data science team. Earlier experience includes a Junior Data Scientist position at TIM, where advanced analytics projects were undertaken, and contributions to the development of TIM's Big Data Competence Center. Pietro's journey began with an internship in Industrial Engineering at Whirlpool Corporation, coupled with significant educational qualifications including Master’s Degrees from Politecnico di Milano and University of Rome Tor Vergata, as well as international academic experiences in Spain and the United States.
