Charles Chang

Charles Chang is a seasoned hardware engineering professional with extensive experience in leading and managing engineering teams across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Tonal since July 2020, Charles has successfully built a test team comprising hardware, firmware, and software engineers from the ground up and has executed critical failure analysis and component validation. Prior to this role, Charles spent four years at Fitbit as a Lead Hardware Engineer, focusing on hardware platform evaluation and leading design for JDM projects. Charles's earlier career includes a Technical Support Manager position at Analog Devices and a Hardware Team Lead role at Garmin International, where management of a team of five engineers and oversight of the product development cycle were key responsibilities. Charles holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
