Michael Valente

System Engineering Lead at Tonal

Michael Valente has had a diverse range of experiences in engineering and machine operations. Michael began their career as an HVAC/Acoustical Engineering Intern at Newcomb & Boyd in 2008. From there, they worked as a Precision Machinist at the Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering Machine Shop for a year. Michael then became a Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Researcher at the Intelligent Machine Dynamics Lab from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they were an Electromechanical Engineer at the Marcus Autism Center as a Simons Fellow in Design & Engineering for three years. In 2015, they joined PARC as a Mechanical Engineer until 2016. Michael is currently working at Tonal as the System Engineering Lead since 2016.

Michael Valente attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
