Bernhard Pellens

Bernhard Pellens is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of business administration with extensive experience in governance and accounting. Currently serving as a member of the supervisory board and chairman of the audit committee at Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien since December 2021, Pellens has also held a professorship in business administration at Ruhr University Bochum since October 1997 and has been a lecturer and honorary professor at Tongji University since 1988. In addition to various roles in academic and professional organizations, including positions with the Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaft e.V. and LVM Versicherung, Pellens has contributed their expertise to the Deutsches Rechnungslegungs Standards Committee e.V. and has served on the supervisory board and as chairman of the audit committee at thyssenkrupp from January 2005 to January 2020.
