Ram Patalapati

Ram Patalapati Ph.D has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance. Their most recent position was as the Head of R&D Quality at Tonix Pharmaceuticals, starting in June 2021. Before that, they worked at Intercept Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Quality Auditing & Inspection Management from November 2019 to March 2021. From November 2017 to November 2019, they held the role of Clinical Quality and Compliance Lead/Global Quality Oversight at Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Ram also worked as a Consultant in Clinical Quality Assurance at Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from January 2017 to October 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Clinical Quality Assurance at RxLogix from April 2016 to December 2016. In their earlier career, Ram held various positions at Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Genzyme Genetics, Goldman Sachs, and the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).

Ram Patalapati Ph.D completed their Ph.D in Clinical Immunology at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, Wardha from 1983 to 1988. Ram then pursued a Post Doc degree in Immunology & Molecular Biology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 1996 to 2000.
