Musa Kpaka currently serves as the Chief Technical Advisor to the Chief Minister in the Office of The President of Sierra Leone, and as an Agriculture Advisor for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Previous roles include Project Coordinator and Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, and Associate Program Officer with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where responsibilities involved developing measurement and evaluation strategies for agricultural development. Additional experience includes consulting for the International Finance Corporation and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab. Musa Kpaka holds a PhD in Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and International Development from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Whitman College, complemented by education at the United World College, South East Asia.
