Seamus Jeffreson

Seamus Jeffreson has extensive experience in international development and humanitarian assistance, currently serving as Director at TBI Brussels for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change since September 2019. Previously, Seamus held the position of Director at CONCORD Europe, representing the main European Development NGO network. Experience includes roles with the European Commission as a short-term expert designing EU support programs for Syrian refugees, and a Country Director at International Medical Corps managing projects for Iraqi and Syrian refugees. Additional roles span leadership positions at CARE and CAFOD, and directorships within the European Commission, focusing on Eastern Europe and Central Asia assistance programs. Academically, Seamus earned an M.Phil in Social and Environmental Studies from the University of Liverpool, following a BA in English and History from the same institution.
