Michael Houston Pe

Michael Houston, PE, AICP, currently serves as the Engineering Group Manager at Toole Design Group's Seattle office since September 2023. Prior to this role, Michael amassed significant experience with the City of Seattle from June 2016 to September 2023, holding positions such as Senior Land Use Planner and Senior Transportation Planner, where responsibilities included reviewing private development for compliance with city regulations and implementing Transportation Management Programs. Michael's earlier career involved positions as a Transportation Engineer at The Transpo Group, a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, and an Assistant Planner at Cascade Bicycle Club, among others. Michael holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Portland.
