Japan Doshi

Japan Doshi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at toothsi, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, from July 2020 to March 2023, they worked at Rupeek as the Head of Product, Engineering, and Data Science.

Before joining toothsi and Rupeek, Japan worked at Amazon for a significant period. From October 2019 to July 2020, they were the Director of Software Development, Payments. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Manager, Software Development, Payments from May 2016 to October 2019. Japan also had experience as Sr. Manager, Product and Engineering, Appstore from December 2012 to April 2016, leading a team of senior product and technical program managers. Additionally, they worked as Sr. Technical Program Manager, Recommendations and Cloud Photos from April 2010 to November 2012, where they led the development of complex software products across multiple teams.

Before joining Amazon, Japan worked at GSK from October 2006 to April 2010, undertaking project management and product management roles. They also worked as a Software Engineer at GSK from June 2003 to September 2006.

Earlier in their career, Japan had internship experiences at Johnson & Johnson Healthcare from June 2002 to August 2002 and at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) from June 2000 to May 2001.

Japan Doshi received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Nirma Institute of Technology in 2001. After that, Doshi pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, which was completed in 2003.
