Justin Weinberg

Justin Weinberg is an experienced leader in the field of product strategy and innovation, currently serving as VP of Product at Top Hat since December 2022, while also co-founding Aktiv Learning. As CEO of Aktiv Learning from July 2014 to December 2022, Justin focused on enhancing student engagement and outcomes in STEM courses, notably launching Aktiv Chemistry, which gained traction across 700 colleges and universities in North America. Prior to these roles, Justin contributed to significant research at Carnegie Mellon University as a Graduate Researcher and worked at Merck & Co. as a Scientist, developing bioanalytical assays for monoclonal antibody drug candidates. Early experience includes an internship at Ionis Pharmaceuticals and initiating a computer consulting business at age 14. Justin holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
