Declan Murray

Declan Murray has extensive experience in credit management and accounting, currently serving as Regional Credit Manager at Top Oil since September 2014. Prior to this role, Declan held positions at C&C Group from November 1999 to March 2014, including Accounting Services Manager, where leadership of a 10-person team ensured efficient credit control, accounts payable, and payroll functions. As Credit Control Manager, responsibility encompassed managing cash collections of approximately €400 million across domestic and international markets, with a focus on minimizing bad debts and enhancing debt quality. Initial experience as a Credit Controller involved overseeing a team dedicated to optimizing cash collection on key accounts. Declan's education includes attendance at Clonmel High School and Presentation College Bray.
