Gerhard Wallner

Gerhard Wallner has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Gerhard has held various roles and positions throughout their career.

From 2022 to the present, Gerhard is currently employed as the Head of Manufacturing at Topas Therapeutics GmbH.

Prior to this role, Gerhard worked at AGES GmbH from 2020 to 2022 as an Assessor.

From 2013 to 2019, Gerhard served as the Head of External Manufacturing at APEIRON Biologics AG.

In 2013, Gerhard briefly worked at Intercell Austria AG as the Head of Bio Method Development in the Technical Operations department.

From 2011 to 2013, Gerhard was the Group Leader for ELISA in Quality Control at Intercell AG.

Before that, Gerhard served as the Head of ELISA Development Laboratory - Clinical Immunology at Pelias Biotechnologies GmbH from 2008 to 2010.

From 2006 to 2008, Gerhard held the position of Director of External Manufacturing and Quality Operations at Pelias Biotechnologies GmbH.

From 1999 to 2005, Gerhard worked at Boehringer-Ingelheim Austria (BIA) as a Projekt Manager and Group Leader of the Bioassay and ELISA Lab in Quality Control. Prior to that, they worked as a Post Doc in the field of Oncology from 1995 to 1999.

Gerhard also has sales experience at Life Technologies GIBCO-BRL, where they worked as a Sales Representative for industrial clients for a brief period in 1995.

Gerhard began their career as a PhD Student at the Institute of Virology, University of Vienna from 1991 to 1994.
