Carlos Cardoso Ramos

Carlos Cardoso Ramos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project leadership and banking consulting. Currently serving as Project Lead at Topaz since October 2020, Carlos previously held the position of Industry Consultant at IBM from April 2015 to February 2020, focusing on banking project implementation. As the Owner of an independent consulting firm from January 2014 to March 2015, Carlos specialized in application development and process consulting. Prior roles include Development Manager at Scotiabank and Core Banking Development Manager at Nuevo Banco Comercial, where Carlos led strategic planning and efficiency improvements in software engineering and multidisciplinary teams. Carlos began professional endeavors as the Head of Operations and Methods at Banco Comercial SA, managing project portfolios and requirements until 2003. Carlos holds a degree from Universidad de la República.
