Flavio Gaspar

Flavio Gaspar has a diverse work experience in the technology and financial sectors. Flavio started their career as an Intern Software Analyst at UNESP, where they developed internal applications and provided IT support. Flavio then worked as a Programmer at Prodata before joining HST as a Systems Analyst, specializing in self-service solutions for the financial market.

At HST, Flavio progressed to roles such as Project Coordinator and Project Manager, where they managed software development teams and focused on innovative banking and payment solutions. Flavio also served as the Director of Self-Service Systems, assisting with strategic sales efforts and managing customer relationships to drive revenue growth.

Flavio then joined Griaule Biometrics as the Executive Director of Global Sales, where they implemented solutions for secure electronic transactions and biometrics usage. After that, they worked at CI&T as a Senior Manager, leading software development teams focused on digital banking technology and guiding transformational projects.

Flavio then moved to Diebold Nixdorf, where they held roles such as Business Executive for LATAM Software Solutions and Head of Products & Innovation for the Software Business Unit. In these positions, they played a crucial role in determining business development priorities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and scaling analytics and fraud prevention software in the Brazilian financial market.

Before their current role, Flavio served as the CIO and Director of Technology at Grupo Protege, leading the information technology organization and providing a critical interface between the CEO, board of directors, and IT resources. Flavio was also responsible for ventures, partnerships, and an embedded fintech constitution.

Flavio is currently the Chief Product Officer at Topaz, where they are a C-level executive leading the product strategy portfolio and product engineering teams. Flavio focuses on building the most comprehensive financial platform in Latin America and driving business transformation through software-driven solutions.

Flavio Gaspar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 1997 to 2000. Flavio then pursued a specialization in Software Engineering and Client-Server Architecture at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas from 2003 to 2004. In 2014 to 2015, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology Project Management from Ibmec.

In addition to their formal education, Flavio Gaspar has also obtained several certifications. In May 2014, they earned the Oracle Exadata Database Machine Presales Specialist certification. Additionally, they obtained the Oracle Exadata Database Machine Sales Specialist certification in the same month and year. Flavio Gaspar also completed a Masterclass in Building Digital Products from Product School in April 2020.
