Rasmus Ruby-Johansen is currently responsible for claims at Topdanmark. Prior to this, they worked as a chef for PFA SundhedsCenter & SkadeCenter from January 2005 to May 2017, where they were responsible for skadesbehandling in relation to PFA Helbredssikring, PFA Kritisk Sygdom, PFA Tab af erhvervsevne, PFA Aktiv Skadesbehandling, PFA Diagnose, and PFA Forebygger. Rasmus has also worked as an undervisningsinstruktør at Copenhagen Business School from January 2001 to December 2002, where they were responsible for juridisk opgaveløsning with 1.-3. års studerende inden for aftaleret, køberet, erstatning, produktansvar, EU-ret og forvaltningsret, as well as økonomisk opgaveløsning inden for industriøkonomi, rets- og kontraktsøkonomi. Prior to this, Rasmus worked as a selvforsvarsinstruktør at Politiets Idrætsforenings Jiu-Jitsu klub from January 1999 to December 2008, and as an ejendomskonsulent at EDC Mæglerne Poul Erik Bech from January 1999 to December 2002.

Rasmus Ruby-Johansen's educational career began at Odense Katedralskole, where they earned their Master's in Business Administration and Commercial Law. Rasmus then went on to Copenhagen Business School to continue their education.
