Tom Sørensen

Tom Shimizu is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist-Architecture at both Microsoft and LTIMindtree since April 2024, Tom previously held the position of Technical Lead at Tata Consultancy Services from June 2021 to March 2024, managing data flows and APIs for clients including State Street Corporation. Tom's background includes technical leadership roles at Pfizer and Pacific Gas and Electric Company, as well as software engineering positions at The Wooden Wick Co, ThinkIQ, Internet Brands, TwinMed, LLC, and Interush Inc., where contributions included the transformation of legacy systems and the development of algorithms for financial processes. Tom holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham.
