Andreea Barbu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. In 2017, they began their professional journey at EFR, where they served as a Summary Writer and a Member in the Academic and IBEB Committees. Andreea further honed their skills by becoming a Member of the Master Orientation Days Committee.

In 2019, Andreea joined Turing Students Rotterdam as a Marketing Officer, where they gained valuable experience in R programming language and stress management. Andreea ensured the timely update of social media channels and created high-quality content for effective online and offline advertising campaigns.

Andreea also had significant involvement with the Eastern European Students Association (EESA). As the Marketing Officer, they developed skills in empathy, leadership, and various software programs. Additionally, as the Secretary, they excelled in time management and organization, handling financial statements, coordinating board meetings, and maintaining an up-to-date events calendar.

In 2020, they took on the role of Marketing Manager at ESN Rotterdam, leading the Marketing and Content Committees. Here, they showcased their creativity, time management, and empathy to enhance the organization's social media presence.

Andreea joined Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam as a Student Ambassador in 2019. Through this role, they gained a critical perspective on their own experiences and developed ambition towards their studies. Andreea also embraced diversity through interactions with students from around the world.

Andreea continued to expand their teaching and mentoring skills by becoming a Teaching Assistant at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they supported both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

In 2021, Andreea worked as the Communication Manager at Erasmus Student Network The Netherlands, overseeing marketing activities, creating promotional campaigns for national events, and managing social media channels targeting international students.

Andreea then joined Philips as a Marketing Analyst Intern, conducting market research for business intelligence projects and supporting data-driven initiatives. Andreea'sresponsibilities included supporting the development of marketing strategies and conducting market research.

Most recently, Andreea joined TOPdesk as a Business Intelligence Specialist in 2022, focusing on leveraging data for business intelligence purposes.

Throughout their work experience, Andreea consistently showcased their dedication, creativity, and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Andreea Barbu's education history begins in 2013 when they attended Colegiul Național "Mircea cel Bătrân" for their natural sciences studies. From 2017 to 2020, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics at Erasmus School of Economics. Andreea then continued their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained their Master's degree in Data Science and Marketing Analytics from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Andreea Barbu obtained two certifications: the Student Faculty Certificate from Erasmus School of Economics in July 2021, and the Didactical Skills for TA's Programme from Risbo, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, in March 2021.
