Jesse Maddox has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various organizations throughout Kansas. They began their career in 2001 as a Human Resources Professional at the Kansas Department of Administration. From there, they held positions such as Director of Staff Development at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex and Human Resources Professional at the Kansas State Self Insurance Fund. In 2006, they joined the Kansas Highway Patrol as an Employee Relations & Benefits Manager and later became the Human Resources Manager at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex. In 2009, Jesse joined KDOT as the Compensation, Classification, & Research Manager before moving on to become the Human Resources Director at the Kansas Department of Agriculture and later the Kansas Highway Patrol. They are currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library.
Jesse Maddox obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
