Sherry Best is a seasoned arts professional with extensive experience in museum and library curation and art education. Currently a member of the Mountain-Plains Museum Association since 2004 and serving as the Alice C. Sabatini Art Collection Curator at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library since 2002, Sherry oversees the production of six annual exhibits that highlight local and national art. Previous roles include volunteer work with Heartland Visioning, membership in the Mid-America Arts Alliance, and directorship at Rockhurst University's Greenlease Gallery, where Sherry taught photography and art history. Educational credentials include an MFA and MA in Photography and Art History from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
