Michael Griffin MCIOB, C.Build E MCABE has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Barnwood. Michael also served as a Contracts Manager at Lancer Scott Ltd for five years and as a Senior Project Manager at RG Group for one year. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Contracts Manager at Uplands Retail Ltd, served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Bailey of Bristol, and worked as a Physical Education Office for the HM Prison Service.

Michael Griffin MCIOB, C.Build E MCABE has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields of study. Michael started their educational journey in 1982 at City of Bristol College, where they obtained a National Diploma in Engineering, which they completed in 1985.

In 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Psychology from The Open University, which they completed in 1996. During the same period, they also pursued a Post-Graduate Advanced Diploma in Criminology from The Open University, which they completed in 1997.

In 1996, they enrolled in Middlesex University for an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy, which they completed in 2000. Following this, in 2002, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing and Information Technology from the University of the West of England, which they completed in 2003.

In 2006, Michael furthered their education by earning an NVQ Level 5 in Construction Project Management from Excel, a higher education and training institution. In 2008, they completed a C&G 2391 certification in Electrical Testing from South Bristol College.

In 2016, Michael returned to the University of the West of England and obtained a Master of Science degree in BIM (Building Information Modeling) in Design, Construction, and Operations, which they completed in 2018.

Most recently, from 2018 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Building Surveying at the University of the West of England, specializing in Building Construction Technology.

Additionally, Michael Griffin holds an APMG Prince 2 Practitioner certification, which they obtained from APMG in March 2013.
