Seang Chau

Seang Chau is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software and mobile platforms. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Android Platform at Google since September 2016, Chau also holds an advisory role at TopHatch and has been on the Board of Directors at Green Edge Technologies until January 2023. Prior experience includes senior leadership positions at Motorola Mobility LLC as Senior Vice President of Software and at Microsoft as General Manager for Mobile and Devices at Skype. Chau's career began at ACCES I/O Products and spanned notable roles at Cubic Defense Systems and Northrop Grumman, showcasing a strong foundation in embedded systems and firmware development. Chau holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree from UC San Diego.
