Dylan Jones has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Dylan co-founded Topia in 2020, a digital space that allows users to create customizable environments and engage in video chats. Dylan also co-founded Refereum in 2017, a platform that enables game developers to reward and empower fans using blockchain technology. Before that, they co-founded Gamenest in 2015, a game developer co-working space that hosted various game events and popularized the co-working methodology. Dylan has also worked as a Game Systems Designer at KIXEYE, where they transitioned a top-grossing game onto mobile and optimized monetization strategies for games with high annual revenue. Dylan had a role as an Analytics Consultant at Unity Technologies, where they worked with game studios to prioritize features and curated the selection of spotlighted games. Prior to these roles, Dylan worked as a Game Designer at Bane Games, Big Boom Games, and Multiple Studios. Dylan also had the opportunity to be a speaker at TEDx DU in 2012.
Dylan Jones has studied at the University of Denver, where they pursued majors in Digital Media and Human Interaction Design, along with a minor in Marketing. They have also attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology), where they focused on Game and Interactive Media Design. Additionally, Dylan has obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) certification from Google in May 2013.
