Esther van der Pols

Esther van der Pols is a BI specialist currently working at Topicus in the Healthcare Analytics sector since October 2024. Prior to this role, Esther served as a Senior Data Engineer and BI Specialist at MRDM from November 2013 to October 2024, focusing on developing advanced reports and dashboards using Yellowfin and ETL processes with Pentaho PDI. Esther's expertise in business intelligence began as a Business Consultant at Reasult, where report development took place using Cognos Report Studio and OLAP development with Cognos Transformer from January 2008 to August 2013. Earlier experiences include conducting research and statistical analysis at Politie Rotterdam Rijnmond from 1997 to 2007 and serving as an au pair in Switzerland while studying French from September 1993 to July 1994. Esther holds a Master’s degree in Social Psychology and Methodology from the University of Groningen (1988 - 1993) and has completed studies at the University of Geneva (1994 - 1995). Education was initiated at Gymnasium Apeldoorn, achieving VWO, Beta from 1982 to 1988.
