Gonzalo Martinez

Gonzalo Martinez is currently working as a Breeding Program Manager at Topigs Norsvin USA since October 2022. Prior to this role, Gonzalo served as the Genetic coordinator/Fields Geneticist for Latin America and later as a Research Scientist/Genetic Analyst at Choice Genetics from February 2016 to October 2022. With a background in animal breeding and genetics, Gonzalo Martinez completed their Ph.D. at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where Gonzalo also held positions such as Research Coordinator and Department Head. Additionally, Gonzalo holds a Ph.D. in Animal Breeding and Genetics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Magister Scientarum in Animal Production from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
