Ton Erp

Ton Erp has extensive experience in the fields of IT and breeding genetics, currently serving as a Business Analyst Breeding&Genetics and Information Manager at Topigs Norsvin since January 2015, focusing on enhancing information planning and providing valuable business insights. Previously, Ton held the position of ICT Manager at TOPIGS Research Center IPG from October 2007 to December 2014, where Ton oversaw application releases and managed a team of developers. Earlier roles include Application Developer and Information Analyst at the Institute for Pig Genetics BV, where Ton maintained Oracle applications and analyzed connectivity in the pig sector. Ton's career began with a Junior Application Developer position at Pink Roccade and included work at Q-Ray on project-based application development. With a foundation in genetics from a role as Coordinator Breeding Dutch Pig Herdbook, and education from Wageningen University & Research, Ton combines technical expertise with a strong background in pig genetics.
