Topl is a venture backed blockchain startup that is helping small and large companies alike track, tokenize and monetize their sustainable impact claims. We have built a very unique value proposition in the Web3 space. from both a technical and commercial POV:

Commercial: we have built a layer 1 protocol specifically tailored for proving impact claims, be they supply chain or generally speaking. Different from most blockchain protocols, however, we built layer 1 together with the solutions layer and have even built our own products on top of our solutions layer. This has allowed us to have >30 signed use cases with significant test net and increasing mainnet activity prior to event minting our token, which we will do later in '22.

Technical: The engineering has some truly distinguishable merits, including by not limited to our (almost definitely) being the first POS blockchain to reach Nakamoto consensus level security (aka Bitcoin POW), an enterprise-focused PRIVATE smart contract layer (to complement our public, permissionless blockchain), a utxo model to afford more granular level asset tracking, and a two-coin (payment / crypto) system to ensure we can offer low and stable fees over time. In essence, we have built a better mousetrap specifically for how we want / expect our users and community to use the blockchain, and the early use cases prove this to be the case each day.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Growth Marketer to lead our B2B customer acquisition efforts. Reporting to the VP marketing, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential partner organizations to integrate and build on the Topl blockchain. We are looking for an experienced, agile, data-driven marketer who can help build this function from the ground up. We want someone to join us at the start and take this opportunity to establish their own growth marketing practice. We see inbound and outbound marketing as being a cornerstone of this, but we also want you to shape our channel strategy and approach to ensure that we deliver on our ambitious commercial goals. We are looking for an experienced B2B marketer who is both a leader, but who is not afraid to get their hands dirty while we scale

Desired Skills:

  • A track record of developing growth strategies, especially on search, display and paid social and strong hands-on experience in paid media channels.

  • Excellent analytical thinking and skills to leverage data, metrics and consumer behavior trends to drive actionable insights & recommendations.

  • Developer marketing background preferred Channel expertise (PPC/google, FB/IG, Twitter, Tiktok, Reddit etc) Comfortable with Martech tools to effectively derive and share insights (GA, GTM, GSC HubSpot, Salesforce, HotJar, Segment, Mixpanel etc)

  • Test and learn mindset Detail-oriented

  • Strong curiosity or understanding of the blockchain landscape

  • Experience interacting with product and tech teams to optimize outbound messaging and selecting strategic channels will be valued.

  • Increase awareness of Topl.

  • Grow user base and MRR

  • Work with Product Marketing to create a detailed go-to-market growth strategy for our current/new product(s)

  • Primary Focus: Audience development, lead generation, conversion optimization, funnel design, and behavioral analytics in all content and pipelines.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, ensuring they align with the KPIs central to community growth and user acquisition

  • Propose & implement new marketing and outreach strategies

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-4 years growth marketing for an NFT/DeFi/Blockchain company or SaaS company.

  • 6 months to 2 years using DeFi and web3 products regularly.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • You have a proven growth marketing track record with established businesses or early stage start-ups.

  • You are fascinated by historical and evolving trends in blockchain, NFT, DAOs, DeFi.

  • You are excited about Blockchain for businesses.

  • You have worked at a company like Stripe, Twilio, Snowflake, HubSpot etc. that is known for being radically focused on inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
