Job description

Whistic is growing and we're looking for people to help us take our business to the next level! We need a product marketer to amplify our marketing efforts and outreach, including writing content that teaches, inspires, and delights our target audience. You'll be responsible for researching and creating quality content, communicating to the right audiences through the right channels with the goal of converting them into paying customers, as well as helping to define lead nurturing campaigns. You will collaborate with digital marketers, writers, and designers to ensure your efforts integrate with social media marketing, content marketing, and other digital marketing efforts.

This role focuses on achieving annual ARR goals through a combination of content creation and product marketing. We’re looking for an experienced technology writer who has outstanding product marketing experience and is skilled at storytelling.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand Whistic’s brand identity and value proposition to write content that supports defined marketing goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop an editorial calendar based on content strategy, partnerships, business priorities, and events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on SEO and Paid Media to identify goals for content—monitoring performance, measuring messaging efficacy—and ways to improve marketing content.
  • Format and publish content within HubSpot or other CMS. Develop and sustain a working understanding of the CMS.
  • Help create lead generating campaigns that validate target audiences and contribute to continual innovation in formats most effective at engaging our target audience.
  • Research produced content from competitors and craft compelling narratives for Whistic.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years working in marketing and communication roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Exceptional research, writing, and messaging skills
  • Strong technology product marketing experience
  • Experience writing various marketing materials including thought leadership, blogs, email, and social media.
  • Ability to research and define new personas
  • Commitment to quality and consistency, including adherence to brand standards
