Samantha Pentecost

Samantha Pentecost has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Samantha most recently worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Topography Health since August 2022. Prior to this, Samantha held positions at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, where they served as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Neurology from June 2021 to August 2022. Samantha also worked as an Academic Program Coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences from July 2020 to June 2021. Additionally, Samantha was an Intern at the Justice Research and Statistics Association's Center for Victim Research from March 2020 to July 2020. Samantha also has experience working at Philmont Scout Ranch, where they held various roles such as Philmont Training Center Coordinator and Rayado Trek Coordinator from May 2019 to November 2019. In their earlier years, Samantha worked as an Office Assistant at Southwestern University from August 2016 to May 2019. Samantha also served as a Ranger Trainer and Timber Stand Improvement Crew Leader at Philmont Scout Ranch from May 2018 to August 2018, and as a Research Assistant at Girlstart from January 2018 to August 2018. Samantha's work experience also includes roles as a Ranger Trainer at Philmont Scout Ranch from May 2017 to August 2017, as a Ranger II from May 2016 to August 2016, and as a Ranger I from May 2015 to August 2015.

Samantha Pentecost began their education in 2015 at Southwestern University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Samantha majored in Sociology and Latin American & Border Studies and graduated in 2019. In 2017, Samantha participated in a study abroad program at the School for International Training. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at The University of New Mexico in 2020 to pursue a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal studies, which they completed the same year.

In terms of additional certifications, Samantha obtained a Data Science and Data Engineering certification from The University of New Mexico in February 2021. Samantha also received a Search and Rescue Field Certification from New Mexico Search and Rescue in May 2017. Additionally, Samantha obtained certifications in Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research, Group 1 Biomedical Research Investigator, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) through the CITI Program in 2021. Samantha also acquired several certification courses related to Paralegal studies, including Cite Checking, Introduction to Lexis Advance, Regulations for Paralegal Students, Searching and Reading Judicial Opinions, and Using Secondary Sources, all obtained in 2020 from LexisNexis. Samantha has also completed a Wilderness First Responder course from Wilderness Medical Associates International, although the specific time frame is not provided.
