Peter Westerhuijs

Peter Westerhuijs is a Program Manager at Thematic Technology Transfer Artificial Intelligence (TTT-AI) since March 2021, leading a collaborative alliance focused on AI research in the Netherlands. As a Business Developer at IXA Innovation Exchange Amsterdam since April 2019, Peter links academic medical centers and universities to commercial opportunities in medical computational sciences. Peter serves as a Partner and Business Developer at UD Ventures, driving innovation across various sectors, and has held roles such as Expert Evaluator for the European Innovation Council and Innovation Broker for Topsector Energie. Peter possesses extensive experience in technology transfer and business development, having worked with institutions like Delft University of Technology and Oost NL, complemented by a solid educational background including a Ph.D. in Physics from Delft University of Technology and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
