Dr. Magdalena Zawadzki

Dr. Magdalena Zawadzki is an accomplished professional in the field of physics with extensive experience in both research and sales. Currently serving as the Sales Manager for Quantum Technology and Scientific Laser Systems at TOPTICA Photonics since June 2018, Dr. Zawadzki has also held the position of Market Research Manager within the same company. Prior to this, Dr. Zawadzki was a Research Scientist at Heriot-Watt University from 2013 to 2018 and briefly acted as a Scientific Project Leader at the National Research Council Canada in 2016. Additionally, Dr. Zawadzki held the role of President of the OSA Student Chapter at Heriot-Watt University from 2015 to 2016 and worked as a Research and Development Project Manager at Robert Bosch from 2012 to 2013. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physics from Heriot-Watt University and a Diplom-Physikerin from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, complemented by a Master's degree in Physics and a visiting research position at the University of Ottawa.
