Pei-Wen Tsai

Pei-Wen Tsai is a Laser Development Scientist at TOPTICA Photonics since August 2022 and has been a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since August 2012. In the research role, Pei-Wen Tsai has developed multiple laser stabilization systems utilizing various locking techniques, including atomic spectroscopy and Pound-Drever-Hall locking, and engaged in simulations of experimental results in lattice atomic physics and Rydberg atom physics using Matlab. Additionally, Pei-Wen Tsai has extensive teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant, supporting both graduate and undergraduate students through lab and discussion sessions. Pei-Wen Tsai earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2012-2022), a Master of Science in Physics from National Dong Hwa University (2009-2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from National Dong Hwa University (2006-2009).
