Olalekan ISMAIL

Olalekan ISMAIL has a strong background in software engineering and technology leadership. Olalekan is currently working at Caantin as a Lead Software Engineer, where they collaborate with other engineers to ensure scalability and maintainability of applications. Prior to this, they worked at Pangaea as a Senior Software Engineer, where they revamped internal sales management applications and optimized database and system architectures. Before that, Olalekan was the Head of Technology at Intelligent Innovations Co., leading a team of software engineers and implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Olalekan also co-founded Jhaki Technologies Limited, where they led the development of an e-haulage logistic app and built enterprise solutions for managing the logistic ecosystem. Olalekan began their career as a Software Engineer at Swiss Biostadt Limited, where they analyzed and developed software and mentored students in Java and Android programming. Overall, Olalekan has demonstrated a track record of improving system performance, enhancing user experience, and leading successful software projects.

Olalekan ISMAIL graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2018 with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. In 2023, they completed their Master of Science in Big Data Analytics from Sheffield Hallam University. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Google Africa Scholarship ALC 3.0 from Andela in January 2018.
