Chang Jung

Sr. New Product Development Engineer at Toray Plastics (America), Inc.

Chang Jung has a diverse range of work experience. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Plastics Process Engineer at Plastics Color Corporation, where they were responsible for establishing processing conditions for production efficiency and resolving troubleshooting involving compounding formulation process and quality control. Chang also developed new formulations for wire and cable customers. In 2007, Chang Jung joined Toray Plastics America as a Process Engineer II and later became a Process Engineer III, where they worked on BOPP thin film manufacturing with a focus on food packaging and industrial applications. Chang implemented and evaluated existing process designs to enhance productivity and quality. In 2013, they took on the role of Sr. New Product Development Engineer at Toray Plastics America, where they continued to work on process implementation and optimization.

Chang Jung pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Science & Engineering at Dankook University from 1996 to 2002. Following this, they went on to complete a Master's degree in Plastic Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which took place from 2003 to 2005.
