Octavius Mihaies has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Octavius currently holds the position of Managing Director at Torch Partners since November 2022 and is also a Lecturer in Finance at Sciences Po, starting in 2022. Prior to these roles, Octavius served as Partner Technology at Access Capital Partners from March 2020 to November 2022. Octavius was also the Managing Partner at Clearwater International Corporate Finance from July 2018 to December 2019, where they specialized in the Tech Practice and provided comprehensive services in equity, debt, and M&A across global markets. Before that, Octavius served as the Managing Director at Financière de Courcelles, a merchant & investment bank and corporate finance advisory firm. Octavius worked as an Entrepreneur in Corporate Finance & Private Equity from September 2007 to July 2017. Octavius began their career at Access Capital Partners in 2003 as part of the Investment team, where they executed and managed Private Equity investments across Europe.
Octavius Mihaies obtained a Master's Degree in Économie from Sciences Po, which was earned between 1999 and 2002.
