Jack Murphy

Jack Murphy has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Jack is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Torch since May 2022. Prior to this, Jack worked at Boomi for three years from September 2019 to April 2022, where they held the position of Site Reliability Engineering Manager. In this role, they managed a team responsible for monitoring and maintaining Boomi's flagship SaaS application, and also developed tooling for infrastructure automation and incident response.

Before joining Boomi, Jack worked at Urban Outfitters as a DevOps Engineer from November 2015 to August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at TicketLeap as a Software Architect from February 2012 to September 2015, where they led an internal labs team and developed products like the app "http://m.et" for maintaining face-to-face relationships.

Jack's earlier work experience includes a role as a Web Developer at Empathy Lab from May 2008 to February 2012, and at Terastar Systems, Inc from August 2005 to May 2008.

Jack Murphy attended the University of Scranton from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
