Jessie Szemraj

Jessie Szemraj has extensive work experience in product management, consulting, and risk management. Jessie began their career in 2007 as a Summer Intern at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In 2008, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, and also as a Model at Traque International Model Management. In 2009, they were a Graduate Student Instructor (EECS 461) at the University of Michigan. In 2010, they were an Intern at American Express in International Risk Management. From 2011-2014, they held various roles at American Express, including Manager, International Risk - Digital Acquisitions, Senior Manager, Global Risk Oversight, and Chief of Staff to Senior Vice President, Enterprise Model Validation & Operational Risk. From 2014-2016, they worked at LiveRamp as a Growth Architect, Product Expert, Team Lead, Customer Implementation, and Product Manager, Customer Implementation. From 2016-2018, they were an Independent Consultant at onNomatic Consulting. Since 2018, they have been at Lingoda GmbH as a Product Lead. In 2020, they began working at Torch as the Director of Product Management and Product Manager.

Jessie Szemraj attended the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2009, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Jessie then returned to the University of Michigan and completed a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science Engineering (Hardware) in 2010.
