Amber Powers

Amber Powers has had a successful career in marketing and business. Amber began their career in 2001 as the Marketing Director for CMI, where they were responsible for marketing through public relations, merchandise development, creative content, and digital marketing initiatives. In 2008, they joined Imagine Indiana Life Sciences Academy East as a Recruitment and Marketing Specialist, Event Planner, Grant Writer, and Teacher. During their time there, they created successful marketing initiatives, exceeding the original enrollment goal by 105 students. Amber also implemented and managed the first Smart Lab in Central Indiana. In 2013, they founded Powers Digital Marketing, where they have served as President since then. In 2016, they took on a Contract Project Manager/Strategic Lead role at Torchlite Marketing. Additionally, they have volunteered with Trusted Mentors since 2014. In 2020, they launched Shop From Her Directory, an online platform designed to connect consumers to products and services they are looking to purchase, with the goal of promoting women-owned businesses globally.

Amber Powers attended Vincennes University from 1998 to 2001 where they earned an AA in American Sign Language (ASL). Amber then went on to attend Indiana Wesleyan University from 2002 to 2004 and earned a BS in Business Administration and Management, General.
