Richard Jundis

Richard Jundis has extensive experience in mining engineering, currently serving as Principal Mining Engineer at Torex Gold Resources Inc since September 2022. Previously, Richard held various leadership roles, including Director and Manager of Mining Engineering at Optimize Group Inc. from May 2020 to September 2022, and Principal Mining Engineer at BBA from June 2016 to May 2020. Earlier career highlights include positions as Senior Mining Engineer at Goldcorp and as Senior Mining Consultant at Deswik Mining. Richard's foundational experience includes senior roles at both Barrick Gold Corporation and Vale Base Metals. Richard Jundis earned a degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from McGill University, completing studies between 1994 and 1999.
