Steven D'Sa, CISSP

Steven D'Sa, CISSP, has over 20 years of experience in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cybersecurity. Steven has worked in various roles at different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 1998, Steven worked as a Systems Engineer at Hummingbird, where they provided global presales technical support and conducted product demonstrations and training.

In 2003, they joined Tucows as a Sales Engineer, responsible for presales and post-sales support in the North American market. Steven also played a role in driving new product initiatives and strategic positioning.

From 2005 to 2006, Steven served as a Sales Engineer at Herjavec Group, providing presale and post-sale support for Canadian clients. Steven also assisted with internal LAN support.

In 2006, they moved to EntryPort as a Senior Solutions Engineer, offering professional services for IAM products from Oracle and Computer Associates. Steven also performed J2EE development and created working VMWare images.

Steven joined Oracle in 2008 as a Senior Principal Consultant, specializing in IAM implementation consulting for the public sector and higher education. Steven was involved in architecture, design, and integration of various systems.

From 2010 to 2014, they worked at BlackBerry as an Identity Management Architect. In this role, they handled the architecture and design of internal and external Identity Management environments and led the installation and configuration of the Oracle Identity Management Suite.

At Oracle (2014-2017), Steven served as a Senior Security Consultant, providing sales guidance for Oracle's Security Solutions, delivering customer presentations and technical demonstrations, and offering architectural guidance for deploying IAM solutions.

From 2017 to 2021, they worked at VMware as an Identity Management Technologist. Steven acted as a strategic advisor for product management and various departments and led technical integrations with identity alliance partners.

Currently, Steven is employed at Torii as a Distinguished Solutions Engineer, tasked with driving sales and revenue growth through strategic sales coaching, high-quality sales demonstrations, and webinars.

Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated expertise in IAM, sales engineering, product management, and technical support. Steven holds a CISSP certification, highlighting their proficiency in information security.
