Chrl Andrea Pernicky

Andrea Pernicky, CHRL has over 16 years of experience in human resources. Andrea is currently the Human Resources Director at TORLYS, where they are responsible for strengthening the company's culture and building an HR team of excellence. Prior to joining TORLYS, they served as the Human Resources Manager at HydroPool Industries, where they supported all departments with their HR needs and led the HR Department in areas such as recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. Before that, they worked at Bora Pharmaceuticals as an Acquisition Project Lead and HR Operations Manager, overseeing the implementation of HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems for a newly acquired facility. Andrea also has extensive experience at Rockwool North America, where they served as the Human Resources Manager, Corporate & WorkDay Specialist, and later as the Corporate Human Resources Manager. At Rockwool, they supported the HR strategy for 150 employees, managed a team of HR specialists, and played a key role in program and policy development. Andrea Pernicky, CHRL, has a strong education background in Human Resources Management and Business Administration. In 2002, they enrolled at Sheridan College and completed a Business Diploma with a major in Human Resources, graduating in 2005. Andrea furthered their education in 2013 by enrolling at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they obtained a certificate in Human Resources Management and Services, specializing in the same field of study.

Additionally, Andrea has obtained several certifications throughout their career.
