Karen McDonald has extensive experience in ecosystem management and environmental restoration, currently serving as Senior Manager, Ecosystem Management - Restoration and Resource Management at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) since 2006. Prior roles at TRCA include Senior Project Manager for Watershed Strategies and Project Manager for Restoration and Environmental Monitoring Projects. Karen started their career as a Biologist at MMM Group from 2005 to 2006, and earlier held positions with TRCA as field staff from 2003 to 2005 and as an Aquatic Resource Assistant with Central Lake Ontario Conservation in 2002. Karen's educational background includes studies at Sir Sandford Fleming College from 2001 to 2004 and a degree from Bishop's University from 1992 to 1996.
